Reinhard Gouw's Journal

I thought I won't be dancing so much like I did in high school. But here it is, active in campus also consists of dancing for me.
So I want to introduce you to these new crazy folks happening in my life.
The UC Big Dance Crew; or BDC as a stage name.
In the past month, we've been connected to each other. At least every Monday, Thursday, and Saturday for certain. There were 2 jobs ahead of us. And these practices narrow my days, but they're one of my favorite times of the week. Dancing has always been a pleasure, a pride, and also a blessing for me. 2 jobs in October, 2 Saturdays straight. Having them as a team is an awesome thing.

Here we are, the BDC:

Me hairstyling Sam, always.

The Willows.

We're such a crazy and fun team. I bet I'll keep holding on to this.

Well, I'm not a dancer for life. But to stop, I can't and I won't.
I'll keep on dancing.

I've been living busy days since I started taking so many responsibilities.
I'm a part of my major's event committee, Psychopreneur In Action 2012, in the event executor committee. This is gonna be my first committee experience in the campus, so I will learn a lot!
Another responsibility is that I took the chance to be a team coordinator in the Entrepreneurship 1 selling project. It's an excitement, I am motivated to be one! This is also a big learning process for me, another big step for me to reach a more organized and experienced me.
Other than that, there are UKM dance practices for jobs ahead, and also UTS that is coming to an end.

I took these responsibilities because I promised myself I'd be active in the campus. In high school I spent my whole life dancing. I wanna try something new. Because dancing is one thing for me, organizing is another. I left my organizing life nearly abandoned back then. I think it's time for it to shine. But I don't know, maybe I took too many things, I should've taken things one step at a time.

I am not the kind of person that is bold in making decision and statement. But being bold is always my target. So taking bigger responsibilities is a facility for it to grow inside me. I have to be tough with other people, not just the plain super-friendly attitude I've been putting on. Being too friendly isn't too good. Sometimes you'll get blown away with the others. Friendly is the best attitude that's ever happened in my life. But I should manage the quality, know the time and place to be.

These days I realized something. I am a total different person outside and inside my family. Outside my family I am the friendly, loud, easygoing, laugh-at-all-times type. But when I go back home, I become the silent, emotional, strict, and tough-to-crack type. Though there's nothing wrong with my family. Can't recall when this started, I realized when my mom told me to be friendly with everyone and don't show cockiness. My family and people outside know me as two completely different persons. Whatever's happening, need to find out.

Psychology topics get friendlier in my ears. I don't regret taking psychology here rather than communication science, I learned so much neat and wonderful things to be applied in my life. There are so much magical things about human's mentality, and how we can work with ours. Neat.

I also start to literally write again.
So many things I can't share with anyone. It's always the best way to cure this kind of condition.

"All I can do is just write down every emotion I feel. Take my notebook, read everything in my mind. Only my notebook knows how I feel. My heart is on every page." - Chrisette Michele

Everyday felt so hectic for the past 2 weeks. Beside the assignments, there were always things that spiced up the time. Inside these times, there were also birthdays. Not only mine, but also another 2 members of Willow. Beta's and Grego's! So Beta's birthday was the day after mine, and Grego's was on September 4th. Everyone was busy thinking of ideas to spice up each of the 3 birthdays. Hope it was all special! Mine was. :)

Just as I was about to sleep, my door was opened with a crackling sound of the candle, and then I was kidnapped to the front of my house. There, I was cake-ified, with additional soy sauce. I was also surprised that there was Indra there! I hadn't met him for 2 months and sure missed him alot. He even was in for the surprise while he just got back from hometown and sick. Thanks, brother! Thanks to Reivaldi, Lia, Beta. Thank you for the night-raid!

Then, that day my friend Sydney also came by in the afternoon, alone carrying cake into my room. It was sweet! :) And she also brought a present from her and Onel that they made since 3 months before. Thank you, sis. Thank you, Onel! My best friends since the beginning of high school. I NEVER expected that to come.

There were also a cake from PSY '12 and Cherry Berry. And Cherry Berry's cake is predictably odd. There on the cake, written "Happy Birthday Armando" Okay, I'm Armando the 18th. hahaha. Thanks everyone!

With PSY girls.

Happy birthday Armando

Thank you.
I just can't thank you enough! :)

After embarassing Beta as Beta Riana around PTC, and creating a super-Willow alay video for Grego, we celebrated it on Grego's day, the 4th of September at Hachi-Hachi Bistro and Taste Code in G-Walk. Three of us, one cake. Will it go like this for the next years? hahaha Let's see.

Thank you Beta, Grego, Lia, Peter, Reivaldi, Atin for the night! I love you people.
And thank you also for every single friends who gave wishes. I am who I am now because of everyone God has put in my life. I will try and get up to always be a better and better person.

Someday I will make my closest people proud.
